Coaching 4 Growth, Inc. was founded by Ralph Funk in 2000. He and his wife Carla have been married 35 years. Together, they have three children and one grandchild. He has a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree with a major in Leadership.

Ralph was formally in management with General Motors, however, in 1990, he began his career in pastoral ministry in a small church that was considering closing. During his eight years of ministry there, the church grew and building expansion was accomplished. He became ordained as elder in the Free Methodist Church in 1998. His consulting work began in that same year as Director of Church Ministries for the East Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church. Under his leadership, many churches have experienced turnaround toward Great Commission health and growth. He has also been a sponsor of church planting efforts in Michigan and Central Africa. In 2001, Ralph was a catalyst in launching a Bible College in Tanzania. In that same year, he launched a Training Institute in Michigan that prepares people for ministry, and a Haitian Church plant. Since that time, two additional locations for the Training Institute have been launched.

He has a passion for healthy, growing churches and mentoring others in ministry careers. His coaching ministry to Pastor's one-on-one is a growing demand as Pastor's find in Ralph a coach who has experience and wisdom to bring to most situations. He brings a wealth of experience and passion for Great Commission turnaround in the local church. Ralph is certified as consultant with the Free Methodist Church, is a member of the American Society of Church Growth, the Society for Church Consulting, and is an Associate Consultant with the Church Doctor Ministries.
